The world’s best selling spark plug manufacturer NGK needed a local sales strategy for Turkey as there was the belief of NGK only produced spark plugs for far eastern vehicles, thus giving him the place of second brand on this market.

Solution

We conducted thorough field work for the brand. The reasons, why the brand did not grow as expected, were found. We reviewed the strategy of the brand portfolio. We developed an ad placement idea supported by the world market leadership and managed the application process. For 3 years, we have been managing the brand (2014). We discovered new methods to convey the new advertising idea within the company working on B2B. It was planned and put into action with our support.

Result

The strategy soon showed its results and NGK’s value on the market was maintained and paved the way to growth. NGK is now the leader in the sector.
